Suehiro Cerax 1010 Whetstone #1000

by Suehiro

The Cerax 1000 has always been Ryky’s favorite soaking sharpening whetstones.  They are fast cutting, and give great positive feedback, and slow wearing. These have been a top pick for 3 years in a row.  This whetstone, paired with a good quality strop, will give any knife an edge suitable to be used in any kitchen. When using this whetstone, Ryky often finishes with the Suehiro Rika 5000, which is a soaking polishing whetstone.

Be sure to clean the entire surface of the whetstone when using any of these methods to ensure even wear of the whetstone’s surface.
